    New Sunday Morning Small Group
A new Sunday morning small group is joining the already great Sunday morning lineup! The group will meet upstairs (3rd room on right) from 10:10-10:45. Led by Cheryl Hines, the group will take the month of September getting to know each other and by looking at some of the parables of Jesus, using the Discover small group guide. If you do not already have a Sunday morning small group, we whole-heartedly invite you to join us and see what wonderful things we have planned for this new group.

    New Sunday Night Bible Study
1 and 2 Peter, Courage in Times of Trouble, by John MacArthur. In the first letter, Peter reminds believers of the many blessings available to them and in the second letter Peter warns believers to discern and defeat the false teachers who were invading the church and teaching dangerous, deceptive doctrines. Peter's letters of encouragement and warning are just as important for believers today to hear and understand. Marie Walton will be leading the weekly discussions for this 11 week course, Sunday nights at 6:00PM. Books can be purchased for $9.99 at Lifeway or from any online source. A course calendar is available in the weekly bulletins handed out at TUMC Sunday morning services.
